Contact SupportQuick Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions for your welding equipment.
Power Supply Issues
Check input voltage matches machine rating. Verify circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure power cord and plug are undamaged. For generator use, confirm stable output within ±15%.
Poor Weld Quality
Verify correct polarity and gas flow. Check wire feed tension and liner condition. Ensure workpiece is clean and properly grounded. Adjust voltage/wire speed balance.
Overheating Protection
Thermal overload light indicates machine has exceeded duty cycle. Allow to cool with fan running. Reduce amperage or increase rest periods for continuous work.
Wire Feed Problems
Check drive roll size matches wire diameter. Inspect liner for kinks or debris. Ensure correct contact tip size and condition. Verify spool brake tension.
Arc Starting Trouble
Verify earth clamp connection is secure and on clean metal. Check electrode condition. For TIG, ensure tungsten is sharp and gas flow is adequate.
Error Codes
Refer to your user manual for specific error code meanings. Most errors can be resolved by power cycling the machine. Contact support if error persists.
